Overview
Manage the testing and release of new systems, software or services and enhancements, changes or new features to existing systems to ensure the quality, reliability, security, integrity and performance meets defined requirements and they are delivered in a secure, cost-effective manner that ensures they are fit-for-purpose.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the overall test and release framework across applications, data and infrastructure
- Define, maintain and implement a robust testing and release strategy
- Lead manual and automated testing including unit, integration, regression, security and UAT
- Plan and manage release scheduling, dependencies and deployment
- Line manage QA testers and analysts and coordinate matrixed resources
Requirements
- Significant experience in test and release management
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance
- Experience within pensions administration or public sector environments
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst or Manager Certification, Advanced Level Agile Tester or equivalent
