As part of its 2026 strategic plans, the firm is looking to expand its Trustee Director team by appointing an experienced professional with deep knowledge of the UK defined benefit pensions industry. The role requires individuals with the expertise, presence, and credibility to work effectively with trustee boards, sponsoring employers, and advisers. You will provide strategic input and oversight across a variety of pension schemes, each with distinct funding positions and governance needs.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience serving on trustee boards for UK pension schemes
  • Completion of the Trustee Toolkit
  • Ideally, progression towards or completion of the Award in Pension Trusteeship
  • A background in pensions advisory whether actuarial, legal, investment, covenant/restructuring, or consulting is highly beneficial
  • Suitable for those currently working in trustee services or looking to transition into a full-time trustee role
