IGA Talent Solutions is seeking to engage with Snr Actuarial Analysts with Commercial Lines or London Market Insurance experience. This position sits within a large team and is opened to an external hire due to mid-year promotions within the team. The work is mainly comprised of actuarial Pricing workstreams; in addition, the client can offer Reserving work as 1/3 of the role. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who is looking to expand their technical skill set and gain further commercial understanding of how an insurer - and the wider market or submarket - operates.

Key aspects:

  • Work on GenAI-enabled pricing initiatives, exploring how AI can enhance pricing insight and decision-making
  • Support transfer pricing projects, modelling return on capital and regulatory capital against business plans
  • Pricing and underwriting reviews, providing independent insight into methodologies, governance and controls
  • Support portfolio and reinsurance optimisation, helping improve capital efficiency and risk selection
  • Develop data and analytical solutions to strengthen pricing and underwriting capability
  • Contribute to projects across exposure management and insurance product transformation
  • Support next-gen technology rollouts where opportunity arises

  • Support quarterly production of technical provisions under Solvency II and Lloyd's reporting frameworks
  • Reserving deep dives and portfolio segmentation analysis to better understand claims development and reserve adequacy
  • Support and mentor junior team members and early actuarial students, helping them build technical capability and confidence

For an actuary with 3-6 years' experience and approaching the end of the exam journey, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your actuarial exposure while continuing to exercise your technical skillset.
