The Payments Compliance Consultant will provide expert analysis and guidance to ensure the organization meets developing banking accreditation standards. This role involves reviewing technical compliance processes, identifying gaps, and recommending the necessary business process and technical changes to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry requirements. Support the end‑to‑end project lifecycle including full knowledge transfer for service transition teams to ensure ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the IT technical team to conduct a comprehensive review of current systems, processes, and documentation against banking accreditation requirements.
  • Work with the IT technical team to understand the generation and source of transactional data used to form current files consumed by bank systems today.
  • Evaluate technical solutions, including payment systems, security protocols, and integration points, for compliance with banking standards.
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports, including findings, recommendations, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare a comprehensive set of standard operating procedures and knowledge transfer materials for both the business and technology teams to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of banking accreditation, PCI DSS standards, and payment system compliance.
  • Proven experience in technical compliance reviews within financial services or payment processing environments.
