Our client is one of the leading investment consultancies in the UK, which has been breaking the mould within the consultancy space. They have strong experience across investment consulting, actuarial, capital markets and asset management. Employees here work closely with wealth managers, insurers, pension schemes (DB and DC). Their Investment Advisory practice has been a key growth area within the firm over the last few years, where they continue to bring on board new clients and redefine the consultancy space across Pensions, Insurance and Wealth Management sectors.
Due to their growth they are looking to hire a Vice President based in London, where you will not only work with DB Pension clients, but also be exposed to working with insurers, wealth managers and asset allocation spaces, where you will be able to develop new skills within these sectors. This in turn will help take your career to the next level, as you will be able to diversify your client base and develop skills, by learning from market leaders within the space. Our client will also reward you for your hard work and for achieving with promotions based on your results, not experience and uncapped bonus scheme.
We are looking for:
- An Investment Consultant with 10+ years of experience working with DB Pension clients
- Experience in designing and implementing innovative investment strategies, including growth portfolio design, liability hedging portfolios and cashflow matching portfolios
- Experience in collaborating with others to check and deliver client RfPs and potentially contributing to pitch teams
- Track record of leading mandates with a range of size and complexity
- Someone who is keen to manage junior colleagues
- Be FIA/FFA or CFA qualified (or equivalent)
