Our client is a longstanding provider of OCIO/Fiduciary Management services worldwide and a key player in the UK market. They offer a suite of investment solutions to financial institutions, including large corporate pension plans, insurance companies, charities & endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and large/multi-family offices.
The OCIO/Fiduciary Management division takes delegated responsibility for managing clients' investment portfolios, which vary in size from large (£10bn+) to small (£5m) and are tailored to client needs. Portfolios are managed on pooled or segregated bases, are multi-asset, and include direct investments or third-party managers, with comprehensive risk management structures involving derivatives.
The firm is currently growing after winning new clients and is seeking to evolve its leadership team. A senior role has arisen for a professional experienced in managing operations within investment management businesses. This role oversees all non-investment activities, including risk, compliance, reporting, and data management.
The ideal candidate will have a background in investment management across all asset classes and strategies. Candidates with experience at a rival OCIO/Fiduciary Manager, asset managers with credible LDI offerings, or in-house investment teams of multi-billion asset owners are preferred. Proven leadership in operational management of investment businesses is essential.
