Financial Risk Actuary

IGA Talent Solutions is partnered with a market-leading provider of actuarial services to the Insurance industry in the UK & Bermuda. You will have a strong project focus and will provide exposure to cutting edge Capital work across the market. Projects will include: – Capital Management – Join a leading actuarial practice with over 300 professionals across the UK and internationally. The team advises insurers, reinsurers, regulators, and financial institutions on a range of risk, capital, and regulatory issues. With a strong presence in the Lloyd’s and London Market, as well as the UK and European general insurance sectors, you\’ll work on high-impact projects for some of the industry\’s biggest names. Deliver advice on solvency, capital, risk, M&A, restructuring, and regulatory change. Lead and manage concurrent projects, often acting as the main client contact. ESG, capital modelling, risk challenge). Support junior team members through coaching and mentoring. Experienced actuarial professional (qualified or equivalent) with strong risk and capital modelling expertise. Solid understanding of insurance risks, model development, validation, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. Familiarity with capital modelling software (e.g. Broader experience across areas such as reserving, pricing, transactions, IFRS 17, or emerging risks (cyber, climate, ESG) is a plus.
