We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global leader in financial crime, risk, and compliance solutions.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join the Professional Services team. The Architecture role will span across our client’s global product suite. The Solutions Architect will play a leading role in both business analysis and solution engineering domains to ensure that requirements, design and implementation stay aligned, are feasible and implemented in a coherent way. They will also play a supporting role in the project management domain to ensure project planning, resources and risk mitigations stay in line with the solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Analysis: Map business requirements to products to deliver reusable end-to-end solutions.
- Design high-level solution architecture for financial crime solutions, aligning business and functional requirements with product capabilities.
- Define physical architecture and hardware requirements for deployed solutions.
- Ensure strategic architecture aligns with internal groups such as product, implementation, and support.
- Lead technical workshops to guide solution implementation.
- Manage requirements planning, time, costs, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Consult on project decision-making and support integration, future releases, and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams on RFIs and RFPs.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a strong technical background in technologies such as Java, J2EE, C/C++/C#, and SQL.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SOA, web services, MQ, and databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technology.
- Experience with high-volume enterprise solutions handling real-time transactions or large-scale batch records.
- Familiarity with IT delivery processes (SDLC).
- Practical experience in the financial services industry (banking, brokerage, or insurance).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting detailed specifications.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Desirable Qualifications
- Enterprise certification, such as TOGAF.
- Prior knowledge of financial crime solutions.
