Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanical Designer to deliver mechanical engineering design services, supporting project teams and providing expert mechanical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical engineering designs and calculations.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to propose optimal mechanical solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Assist contractors by developing suitable mechanical designs.
• Evaluate contractor designs and provide expert feedback.
• Inspect project sites during and after installations to ensure compliance with design standards.
• Produce detailed drawings and technical reports.
• Respond promptly to stakeholder queries and adhere to project deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven mechanical engineering experience, ideally within the retail sector.
• Proficiency in creating technical design drawings using CAD & Revit.
• Ability to perform design calculations using appropriate software.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
