Role Overview
You will sit within the UK Marketing team, reporting to an SEO manager and collaborating with two Content Editors on IG.com. Your role is to grow organic search and app store acquisition, driving high‑intent traffic that converts into account openings and first trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full funnel from search to install to first trade.
- Execute technical audits, brief and QA content, build internal link structures, and manage programmatic page templates.
- Align action with account opens and funded accounts, not just traffic.
- Identify high‑impact SEO and ASO opportunities, size against commercial value, brief or build the work, and launch on a cycle of weeks.
- Increase IG's presence in AI overviews and LLM citations.
- Use AI tooling daily to scale content production, automate technical checks, and generate keyword clusters.
- Collaborate with the website manager on the headless CMS build, core web vitals improvements, and structured data implementation.
- Translate SEO requirements into engineering tickets that deliver measurable results.
- Report SEO/ASO performance weekly, linking organic rankings and app store keyword positions to conversion, and present findings to senior stakeholders with clear recommendations.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years hands‑on SEO & ASO experience.
- Strong focus on revenue, pipeline, and account growth rather than just rankings.
- Ability to articulate the business case for every initiative.
- Experience in fast decision‑making, shipping work in short sprints, and measuring against account opening and first trade growth.
- AI‑first mindset: building content at scale and ensuring visibility on Google, the App Store, and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
- Strong technical SEO skills: crawl analysis, Core Web Vitals, hreflang, structured data.
- Experience working directly in a headless CMS environment with engineers.
- Comfort with prioritisation calls and content compliance constraints.
