This pivotal role within Line2 Financial Crime provides independent review, advice, and constructive challenge to ensure financial‑crime risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with risk appetite and regulatory obligations. You partner with Line1 to support sustainable growth while maintaining strong controls.
Key Responsibilities- Support Line2 review and provide advice on product, customer, and business initiatives.
- Assess financial‑crime risks from new or evolving activities and recommend appropriate controls.
- Work with Line1 teams to align risk management with business delivery.
- Oversee, manage escalations, and conduct risk assessment for high‑risk or suspicious cases.
- Assist with assessment, escalation, and reporting of potential breaches.
- Contribute to analysis of trends, risks, and control gaps through thematic or ad‑hoc reviews.
- Support ongoing improvement of risk management practices and controls.
- Help implement and embed policies, standards, and frameworks across Line1.
- Deliver awareness and training initiatives.
- Contribute to regulatory and internal governance reporting.
- 3–5 years of financial‑crime experience in financial services, preferably with trading products such as FX, indices, shares, or derivatives.
- Good working knowledge of UK financial‑crime regulations; exposure to other jurisdictions is an advantage.
- Experience supporting implementation or operation of financial‑crime controls and frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Integrity, high professional ethics, accountability, and strong ownership.
