About the Role: We’re looking for a talented Copywriter to join our creative team, reporting to our Senior Copywriter. In this role, you’ll help investors and traders navigate financial markets with greater confidence by turning complex ideas into clear, engaging content. You’ll create work that makes investing and trading more accessible while maintaining a distinctive tone of voice built around clarity, conviction, and putting the customer first.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, engaging, and on‑brand copy across digital marketing channels including social media, email, web, and in‑app.
  • Support CRM initiatives with customer‑focused messaging tailored to different audience segments and stages of the customer journey.
  • Create copy for performance marketing campaigns, including ad copy, landing pages, and acquisition‑focused content.
  • Apply IG’s tone of voice and messaging across channels, tailoring content for audiences ranging from first‑time investors to experienced traders.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to ensure copy and visual elements work together as cohesive, effective creative.
  • Proofread and edit content to the highest standard before publication, maintaining quality and brand consistency throughout.
  • Support the social media content calendar with caption writing and platform‑native content.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in copywriting or content creation, ideally within a brand, agency, or in‑house creative team.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong writing across multiple formats and channels.
  • The ability to take complex or technical subject matter and translate it into credible, engaging, and accessible copy for investors.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and how copy performs differently across them.
  • Ability to shift tone to fit the moment, from expressive to informative, whilst maintaining our brand voice.
  • Strong organisational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and a willingness to iterate.

Desirable:

  • Experience writing for SEO with an understanding of how to balance search optimisation with engaging, human‑first copy.
  • Knowledge of email marketing and CRM communications, including segmentation and personalisation.
  • Understanding of conversion copywriting principles and performance‑led creative.
  • Experience with content management systems.
  • Familiarity with financial services, fintech, or investment products.
