Role
Senior Product Designer – Primarily supporting the conversion team within the UK division, delivering product design from problem identification and commercial objective clarification through discovery, ideation, solution definition, customer testing and detailed design development for production and beyond. This role focuses on understanding traders’ needs and creating meaningful experiences across customer touchpoints, with a core emphasis on improving the account opening and onboarding experience to ensure a delightful first-time user experience.
Responsibilities
- Running the entire design process from ideation to implementation, including UX, UI and prototyping
- Prototype, test and iterate design ideas with pace and energy
- Observe, synthesize insights from customer research and apply learnings
- Communicate effectively to excite stakeholders at all levels about your work
- Collaborate with other UX/product designers, product owners and developers to enable efficient delivery
- Contribute thought leadership to improve the design process
- Share and align work with the wider design team
What You\’ll Need For This Role
- 5-7+ years of hands-on product design execution and delivery
- Experience optimizing onboarding funnels; finance/regulated domains preferred
- Strong ability to translate business and customer needs into elegant, well-executed ideas
- Proficient typography, grid systems, cross-platform UI and thoughtful design skills
- Comfort with complexity, data, forms and disentangling workflows
- Stakeholder management and ability to justify design decisions to varied audiences
- Ability to create working prototypes and demonstrate interactive design solutions
- Animation experience is desirable
- Excellent presentation, storytelling and communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering conceptual work and staying current with design trends
- Keen attention to detail across all levels of the design process
