So, who are we? IG has been at the centre of retail trading and investment since 1974, when we helped create the market for financial spread betting. Today, we're a FTSE100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 700,000 clients and handling billions in transactions - built on decades of scale, trust and proof. We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that’s rare in established businesses. The bar is high - bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next. Join us at IG – the future gets built here.

Your team IG Group is looking for a talented and driven Mid-weight Designer to join our in-house creative team. In this role, you'll help shape our visual identity across digital and print touchpoints, creating design solutions that translate the complexity of trading and investing into simple actionable communication. Reporting into the Senior Designer, the ideal candidate balances strong conceptual thinking with polished execution—someone who can translate brand strategy into compelling visuals while maintaining consistency across various channels.

Your role in the Team's Success We need a versatile designer with an integrated mindset—capable of working seamlessly between digital and print, campaigns and organic content, web and social, bringing fresh thinking to each project while working within established brand guidelines. If you're a passionate designer that's excited by demystifying the financial markets with creativity, enjoy collaborative problem-solving, and are ready to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. This is an opportunity to develop your design career while contributing to work that genuinely impacts how people understand and engage with their financial futures.

What you'll do:

  • Create visual assets for integrated campaigns across OOH and digital media, social media, emails and website—that's consistent, on-brand, and follows channel best practice.
  • Adapt existing campaign concepts into various formats and sizes across print, digital and motion.
  • Support performance marketing and growth initiatives by designing content across paid social, display advertising and lifecycle comms that drives acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with the Motion Designer to develop storyboards and visual concepts for a range of motion assets.
  • Partner with Copywriters to ideate, challenge and create effective marketing content together.
  • Take feedback and direction from the Senior Designer and Head of Creative.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of IG's brand identity, ensuring assets are applied consistently across all channels and formats.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, bringing fresh thinking to the team.
  • Proactively experimenting with and using AI tools to improve workflow and efficiency.

What you’ll need for this role:

  • Extensive background in graphic design or brand design within marketing or advertising.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating integrated design capabilities across digital and print.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma.
  • Solid understanding of design for digital media, its specifications and formats.
  • Experience in print production, colour management and setting up artwork for OOH, press and publications.
  • Ability to animate and apply motion to campaign assets and a range of digital content.
  • Experience using or experimenting with AI in a commercial environment.
  • A collaborative, team-first attitude — you bring positive energy to the team, take feedback constructively, and are as invested in your colleagues’ success as your own.

Desirable skills:

  • Understanding of websites, responsive design and UX/UI principles.
  • Basic understanding of app design, and creative opportunities within a product experience.
  • Basic understanding of video editing and use of Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using dynamic creative automation tools like Celtra, Bannerflow, StoryTeq or similar for scalable performance marketing.
