Your Team

IG Prime is the institutional division of IG Group, a scaled, multi-asset platform delivering execution, clearing, financing, custody and market-leading technology on a single platform, backed by the strength of a FTSE 100 group. We deliver global Liquidity, Prime Brokerage and White Label services to hedge funds, family offices, brokers, banks and introducing brokers worldwide, combining cutting-edge technology with deep market expertise to give our clients an edge. Our London team based in IG Group's global headquarters drives our revenue growth and plays a critical role in a business built on global client relationships.

Your Role in the Team's Success

Our team is responsible for driving revenues and growing IG Prime's market share across multiple geographies. You will be at the forefront of client-facing activities and expected to develop relationships from initial pitch through to onboarding and ongoing servicing — with a strong emphasis on structured commercial partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Pipeline Development & Prospecting
    • Research and identify prospective clients across hedge funds, family offices, introducing brokers and white-label partners, building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
    • Generating client pitches, proposals and client-facing materials.
    • Conduct outreach to prospective clients — via calls, email and events to build and execute a pipeline of opportunities.
    • Manage pipeline activity from initial outreach through to execution.
  • Client Support & Relationship Building
    • Onboarding of new clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
    • Build early-stage relationships at prospects and existing client firms.
    • Collaborate with the broader team in day-to-day account management, helping to identify opportunities to deepen client engagement.
    • Attend industry events and conferences, developing your network and market knowledge.
  • Learning & Development
    • Build a strong working knowledge of IG Prime's full product suite, across three pillars of Prime Brokerage, Liquidity provision and White Label solutions.
    • Develop your understanding of the institutional trading landscape, including how hedge funds, brokers and white-label partners operate, and collect valuable feedback on competitor offerings.
    • Actively contribute to team meetings, sharing market intelligence, prospect feedback and pipeline updates.

What You'll Need

  • 3–5 years' experience in a financial services sales, business development or client-facing role — prime brokerage, FX, CFD or fintech experience is a plus but not essential.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets and an eagerness to develop deep product knowledge quickly.
  • Strong communication skills — clear, confident and professional in both written and verbal form.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the drive to generate pipeline activity independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in an additional language is an advantage, particularly for European-facing opportunities.
