From social campaigns and email journeys to educational content and UX copy, you'll create work that makes investing and trading more accessible while maintaining a distinctive tone of voice built around clarity, conviction, and putting the customer first. What you'll do
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy across digital marketing channels including social media, email, web, and in-app.
- Support CRM initiatives with customer-focused messaging tailored to different audience segments and stages of the customer journey.
- Create copy for performance marketing campaigns including ad copy, landing pages, and acquisition-focused content.
- Apply IG's tone of voice and messaging across channels, tailoring content for audiences ranging from first-time investors to experienced traders.
- Collaborate closely with designers to ensure copy and visual elements work together as cohesive, effective creative.
- Proofread and edit content to the highest standard before publication, maintaining quality and brand consistency throughout.
- Support the social media content calendar with caption writing and platform-native content.
What you’ll need for this role
- 2–4 years’ experience in copywriting or content creation, ideally within a brand, agency, or in-house creative team.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong writing across multiple formats and channels.
- The ability to take complex or technical subject matter and translate it into credible, engaging, and accessible copy for investors.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and how copy performs differently across them.
- Ability to shift tone to fit the moment, from expressive to informative, whilst maintaining our brand voice.
- Strong organisational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and a willingness to iterate.
Desirable
- Experience writing for SEO, with an understanding of how to balance search optimisation with engaging, human-first copy.
- Knowledge of email marketing and CRM communications, including segmentation and personalisation.
- Understanding of conversion copywriting principles and performance-led creative.
- Experience with content management systems.
- Familiarity with financial services, fintech, or investment products.
