Future Leaders Programme

Start Date: September

Join our -month Future Leaders Programme, designed to fast-track the careers of exceptional graduates with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for finance and technology.

Participants will rotate through various business functions and engage in a month-long offsite training at a key IG location, gaining insights into our industry-leading products and connecting with senior leaders. This program aims to develop a diverse talent pool across operations, technology and the commercial teams at IG.

Throughout the programme, participants will experience hands-on learning in areas such as Dealing, Product, Risk, Compliance, Commercial AI and Data Science. With mentorship and development workshops, you will cultivate the skills needed to become impactful leaders in the industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Actively participate in a one-month offsite training programme to gain insights into our products, services, business model, purpose, strategy, and leadership behaviours.
  • Engage in rotational assignments across various departments to gain a holistic understanding of our business.
  • Contribute to global strategic initiatives.
  • Undertake curated off-the-job training throughout the -month programme to gain essential commercial and leadership skills.
  • Collaborate with other future leader programme participants globally, senior leaders, and mentors to foster professional growth and development.
  • Who we look for

    We look for recent (or soon-to-be) graduates with an excellent track record of individual achievement – who are interested in a challenging, exciting career in the FinTech sector.

    You should have an entrepreneurial mindset and be comfortable with tackling complex problems using a wide range of numerical and technical skills.

    Working at IG Group requires commercial awareness, adaptability and resilience – and you will need to thrive in team environments as well as take initiative independently.

    Eligibility requirements

  • Recent graduates (with three years or less experience) and those predicted to graduate in .
  • A bachelor’s degree (STEM, finance, economics or similar).
  • First professional experience gained during or after your studies (work, internships, student organizations).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen interest in financial markets and technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to take initiative.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Basic coding experience.
