- Support the preparation of statutory accounts, financial management packs, regulatory financial reporting and tax reporting (including provision of information for tax returns).
- Coordinate the quarterly intercompany settlement process for the UK entities.
- Liaise with the wider finance team and other internal stakeholders to understand Group processes and take responsibility for specific processes as required.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, effectively present ideas and turn them into practical actions.
- Participate in ad‑hoc projects, such as supporting new system implementations and evaluating the financial control implications of business initiatives, including preparation of accounting technical papers.
What you'll need

- Demonstrable experience in a financial control, reporting or statutory accounting role, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry.

- Excel skills and experience with SUN and/or HFM would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work at pace and manage competing deadlines during peak periods such as month‑end and year‑end.
