About the role
We're one of the fastest-growing divisions in a well-established global payments business and we're looking for a high-performing, motivated superstar to help shape what comes next. This is a front-line, client-facing role. You'll win new corporate clients, build lasting relationships with CFOs and treasurers, and act as a trusted adviser on FX strategy, currency risk, and international payments. If you're energised by targets and genuinely enjoy the hunt for new business, you'll fit right in.
What you'll do
- Win new business: Prospect, cold-call, and network your way to a strong pipeline of qualified corporate leads.
- Build relationships with senior finance stakeholders — CFOs, treasurers, and finance directors — and understand their FX needs well enough to deliver solutions that actually work.
- Take deals from first conversation to signed contract, managing objections and adapting proposals along the way.
- Support a smooth client onboarding onto our platform.
- Think strategically: Identify target markets, track the competitive landscape, and stay sharp on industry developments that affect us.
- Work with marketing and product to make sure your sales approach and theirs are pulling in the same direction.
- Own your numbers: Hit weekly, monthly, and annual revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management.
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date — and use the data to course-correct, not just report.
- Track conversion rates and pipeline health; flag issues early.
- Stay compliant: Keep up with regulatory requirements through ongoing training.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective clients to manage credit and operational risk.
What we'll measure
- FX revenue against monthly and annual targets
- New clients onboarded and meetings generated
- Pipeline quality and conversion rates
What you'll bring
- A proven track record of winning new business in the deliverable FX market — and hitting or exceeding targets.
- Knowledge of currency markets, hedging products, and international payments.
- A consultative approach: you listen first, then sell.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles from cold outreach to close.
- Strong communication skills — you're as confident in a boardroom as you are on the phone.
- Comfortable with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and resilient under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A true team player with a winning mentality and strong work ethic committed to continuous improvement and high performance.
- Adaptable, tenacious and flexible who can perform under pressure.
Benefits
- 25 days' holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
- Holiday loyalty scheme and work-abroad scheme
- Life insurance and pension (salary exchange)
- Private healthcare cashback (dental, optical, physio) + virtual GP
- Enhanced parental leave and salary-exchange nursery fees
- Cycle to work and season ticket loan (interest-free)
- Annual discretionary bonus (after probation)
- Financial coaching platform and career development tools
- Company events: sporting days, pub nights, seasonal parties
