The Marketing Director will lead the strategic direction, execution, and performance of all marketing initiatives at IFX Payments. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness (including delivering our exciting rebranding project), customer acquisition, and revenue growth across global markets. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial services or fintech marketing, with a strong balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with IFX Payments’ growth objectives.
- Position the brand as a leader in international payments, FX solutions, and financial technology.
- Identify new market opportunities and oversee go-to-market strategies for products and services.
- Brand & Communications
- Own and evolve the IFX Payments brand, ensuring consistency across all channels and regions.
- Lead PR, media relations, and corporate communications to strengthen market presence.
- Oversee content strategy including thought leadership, case studies, and digital storytelling.
- Digital & Performance Marketing
- Drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing, and marketing automation.
- Optimise lead generation funnels and conversion rates across all digital touchpoints.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Product Marketing
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop compelling value propositions and messaging.
- Support product launches with targeted campaigns and enablement materials.
- Translate complex financial products into clear, customer-focused messaging.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Compliance, and Leadership teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Support sales enablement through tools, campaigns, and materials that drive pipeline growth.

- Own the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize impact.
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to track performance and inform decision-making.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director or senior marketing leader, preferably in fintech, foreign exchange, financial services, and/or payments.
- Strong understanding of FX markets, international payments, or B2B financial products.
- Demonstrated success in digital marketing, demand generation, and brand building.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- A true team player with a winning mentality and strong work ethic committed to continuous improvement and high performance.
- Adaptable, tenacious and flexible who is able to perform under pressure.
