We are seeking highly skilled, detail-oriented Solicitor Consultant(s) (3+ years PQE) to join our Private Client Department on a self-employed consultancy basis. This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to grow their practice without the pressure of bringing an existing client base.
You will deliver expert legal advice on all aspects of Estate Planning—including drafting English and/or Islamic Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and related documentation—for clients based in England and Wales, as well as expatriates holding assets within this jurisdiction. Our practice has expanded into Qatar and is helping UK expats based in Qatar. Experience in drafting and legalising global wills is useful but not essential.
Working alongside our network of Chartered Accountants, you will support clients with comprehensive, end-to-end Estate Planning solutions. IFW Legal is a commercially minded, digitally driven firm that generates a strong and consistent workflow through effective social media campaigns and targeted digital marketing.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed client consultations to provide strategic, tailored Estate Planning advice.
- Draft high-quality English and/or Islamic Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and related legal documents.
- Maintain a current, authoritative understanding of relevant laws and regulations to ensure absolute compliance.
- 3+ years PQE with proven experience in Will drafting, LPAs, and Estate Planning.
- Strong legal research abilities with confident, accurate application of the law.
- Exceptional drafting and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage matters seamlessly from instruction through to completion; administrative support will be provided.
- A strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and delivering exceptional client care.
