We are looking for a talented legal professional to join our growing global legal team. In this role, you will support our UK&I and Europe region on software, technology and licensing matters. The position is suitable for both newly qualified and more experienced lawyers who are keen to develop their in-house career in a dynamic, international environment.
We are seeking a newly qualified Software Legal Counsel to support the UK&I and Europe regions. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Senior Legal Counsels in the region
- Providing legal counsel on transactions and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IT-related contracts, including software/cloud agreements, professional services, partnerships, and NDAs.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Deal Desk, Revenue Recognition, and external counsel.
- Managing litigations and pre-litigations with the support of outside counsels.
- Overseeing compliance matters related to anti-corruption, data privacy (GDPR), and export controls.
Qualifications:
- Common law qualified lawyer with none to three years PQE, preferably with experience in or an interest in working in an international environment or in software/cloud/SaaS.
- High standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
- In-house experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to balance legal and business priorities in a dynamic, global environment.
- Fluent in English; other languages like French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese or Polish are a plus.
- Ability to work in a complex, international environment.
