In this role, you will lead the delivery of executive compensation, equity and incentive programmes, ensuring alignment with business performance, requiring close partnership with executive stakeholders, the HR Leadership Team, Business Partners, Executive Recruitment and Finance. You will act as a trusted advisor to Executive Leadership, Finance and HR, providing clear guidance on executive reward matters while advancing both the operational effectiveness and strategic development of reward practices. Success in the role will depend on your ability to navigate complex structures, multiple stakeholders, provide credible thought leadership, execute with pace and precision, and show ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities- Own executive compensation frameworks including incentive programs.
- Lead and manage executive and senior leadership reward benchmarking and package structuring.
- Review performance metrics (threshold, target, stretch) in partnership with Finance.
- Own and manage equity and long term cash based programs, including participant communications, grant cycles, valuation processes and compliance.
- Manage the relationships with external advisors.
- Lead executive reward aspects of M&A, including retention planning and transaction‑related incentives.
- Build strong relationships with Executive Committee, HRBPs, Executive Search, Talent Acquisition and Finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in executive compensation & reward.
- Strong expertise in long term incentives, equity schemes, and associated legal, tax and accounting considerations.
- Experience operating within private equity‑backed, high‑growth or complex environments.
- Ability to operate with pace, autonomy and ownership in a highly dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven stakeholder management experience with senior executives and board‑level stakeholders.
- Experience of M&A or corporate transactions (desirable).
- Understanding of global reward governance (eg EU Pay transparency Act).
