We are seeking a newly qualified Software Legal Counsel to support the UK&I and Europe regions.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Senior Legal Counsels in the region
- Providing legal counsel on transactions and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT-related contracts including software/cloud agreements, professional services, partnerships and NDAs.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Deal Desk, Revenue Recognition and external counsel.
- Managing litigations and pre-litigation with the support of outside counsels.
- Overseeing compliance matters related to anti-corruption, data privacy (GDPR) and export controls.
Qualifications
- Common law qualified lawyer with none to three years PQE, preferably with experience in or an interest in an international environment or in software/cloud/SaaS.
- High standards of ethics, integrity and professionalism.
- In-house experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to balance legal and business priorities in a dynamic global environment.
- Fluent in English; other languages such as French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese or Polish are a plus.
- Ability to work in a complex international environment.
