Asset-intensive industry is entering an AI-enabled, data-driven, increasingly autonomous era — and nowhere is the value more concentrated than in shutdowns, turnarounds, outages, maintenance campaigns, and major capital builds, where scope, readiness, cost, and safety decide success. This role sits at the centre of that shift.
As a Product Manager for Enterprise Asset Management, you'll own products that maximise asset value, reliability, and uptime while reducing risk and total cost of ownership across the full asset lifecycle — from capital build through operation, maintenance, and turnaround.
You bring deep insight into project-based work— shutdowns and turnarounds (STO), campaigns of work, and major capital projects — and you champion high AI agency, treating agentic AI as a core capability, not a feature. You’ll serve asset-intensive operators across IFS's key industries - Energy, Utilities & Resources, Manufacturing, Construction & Engineering, Communication, Aerospace & Defence, and Service Industries.
Core Responsibilities- Strategy & Vision: Set a clear product vision and roadmap tied to measurable outcomes: asset availability, reliability, maintenance cost, and turnaround schedule and budget adherence. Build strong investment cases and drive growth across core and AI revenue streams, aligned with the Asset Lifecycle Management portfolio.
- Customer Discovery: Lead discovery with maintenance, reliability, operations, turnaround/STO, and capital-planning leaders. Go deep on scope challenge and optimisation, readiness, resource mobilisation, scheduling, and cost/risk control. Prioritise ruthlessly on measurable value.
- High AI Agency & Agentic Innovation: Embed agentic AI into project-based work: autonomously assembling and challenging turnaround scope, optimising campaign and outage schedules, surfacing readiness gaps, and continuously replanning as conditions change. Operate with high personal agency in your own use of AI to prototype and validate fast.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the lifecycle from concept to launch to scale. Remove blockers and drive to outcomes — including the hard schedule and cost deadlines that govern turnarounds and capital projects. Keep Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success aligned.
- Commercial Impact & GTM: Define differentiation and value for asset-intensive buyers and event leaders. Support pricing, packaging, launches, and customer presentations. Own adoption as a core metric.
Proven experience (6+ years) in Product Management within SaaS, platform, or enterprise software environments. Deep knowledge of shutdown, turnaround, major capital investment projects or similar activities in the context of EAM. Experienced and knowledgeable in the domain of Enterprise Asset Management, maintenance & reliability, or asset-intensive operations, with hands‑on exposure to one or more of IFS's core industries (Aerospace & Defence, Energy/Utilities & Resources, Manufacturing, Construction & Engineering, Telecommunications, Service Industries).
Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy, vision, and measurable outcomes. Hands‑on experience in customer discovery, prototyping, and validating solutions. Proven track record of launching and scaling products from concept to adoption, delivering measurable customer value. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and prioritisation skills. Data‑informed decision‑making mindset, using analytics, experimentation, and evidence to guide direction. AI‑curious.
Familiarity with asset management standards and practices (e.g., ISO 55000, RCM, EHS/compliance) and asset data models (work orders, asset hierarchies, condition/IoT data). Experience with developer platforms, application frameworks, data services, or AI/ML-enabled enterprise applications. Prior exposure to commercial responsibilities such as pricing, monetisation, or P&L ownership. Experience working in global, distributed organisations and partnering across geographies.
