People, skills and operational resources are critical to success in construction, engineering and other project-driven industries. Organisations must balance productivity, compliance, utilisation and cost while ensuring the right resources are available at the right time. We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to contribute to the strategy, discovery and delivery of operational workforce and resource management solutions for Construction & Engineering and adjacent industries.

You will drive product initiatives from discovery through adoption, working closely with customers, engineering, design and industry experts to validate opportunities, build business cases and deliver measurable outcomes. Based in the United Kingdom, the role has a global remit across North America, Europe and APMJA. You will work closely with customers, partners and internal teams to identify opportunities, validate needs and deliver solutions that create measurable business value.

This role requires strong product leadership, strategic thinking and a passion for applying AI, automation and emerging technologies to solve complex workforce and operational challenges.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to Product Strategy: Contribute to product strategy and shape roadmaps for designated product domains and investments. Translate customer needs, market trends and industry insight into focused investments. Balance customer value, commercial opportunity and platform evolution. Deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
  • Drive Customer and Market Discovery: Engage directly with customers to understand challenges, priorities and outcomes. Build trusted relationships with customers, partners and industry experts. Validate opportunities before investment decisions are made. Establish design partners and lighthouse customers to support discovery and adoption.
  • Define the Product: Translate customer problems into product outcomes, experiences and success measures. Drive prototyping, validation and iterative discovery. Partner closely with engineering and design teams. Leverage AI to accelerate discovery, innovation and product definition.
  • Deliver Outcomes: Build evidence-led investment cases. Drive initiatives from discovery through adoption. Support positioning, launch and customer engagement. Measure success through adoption, customer outcomes and business impact.
  • Shape the Future of Workforce Management: Champion an AI-first mindset, identifying how automation, intelligence and agentic experiences can transform workforce-intensive industries. Identify opportunities to simplify work through intelligent automation. Explore new interaction models and user experiences. Ensure AI-enabled capabilities deliver trusted, measurable outcomes. Partner with customers to shape the next generation of workforce experiences on IFS Cloud.

Qualifications

Essential Experience:

  • Product management experience delivering SaaS, workforce management, resource management, field service or enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience contributing to product strategy, roadmaps, discovery, delivery and adoption.
  • Experience with workforce planning, scheduling, time and attendance, resource management, labour compliance, payroll integration or workforce analytics.
  • Understanding of operationally intensive industries such as Construction & Engineering, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Telecommunications or Field Service.
  • Experience working with global customers.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with workforce management, resource planning, scheduling, payroll, HCM or operational workforce solutions.
  • Experience within construction, engineering, energy, utilities, manufacturing or other project-centric industries.
  • Understanding of workforce productivity, compliance, payroll and workforce analytics.
  • Experience building AI-enabled enterprise software products.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation and agentic experiences.
  • Experience modernising enterprise SaaS products.
  • Exposure to business case development, pricing, monetisation or product P&L ownership.
  • Experience establishing design partner or customer co-innovation programmes.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, computer science or a related discipline.
