About IFS Copperleaf: IFS Copperleaf builds decision analytics and capital planning software for the organisations that run critical infrastructure: electric, gas and water utilities, transportation and rail, oil and gas, mining, and the public sector. Our software helps asset-intensive companies decide where and when to invest, balancing cost, risk, performance and sustainability, and it is used today to manage more than $2.9 trillion of assets worldwide.

These are high-stakes, evidence-led sales. Our buyers, CFOs, VPs of Asset Management, chief engineers and capital planning leaders, answer to regulators, boards and rate cases. Winning new logos and growing ARR depends on a sales engine that runs on clean data, sharp forecasting and a deal process that makes it easy for our customers to buy.

The Role: We are hiring a Head of Revenue Operations to be the operational backbone of the Copperleaf go-to-market team. Reporting to the COO, you will own forecasting, pipeline management, the deal desk, CRM, sales analytics, territory planning, and sales compensation. You will turn a complex, enterprise sales motion into a predictable one. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can move between the boardroom and the spreadsheet.

What You Will Own:

  • Forecasting, pipeline and demand generation. Run the forecast and demand generation cadence end to end.
  • Deal desk and deal support. Own the contracting workflow and deal review for complex, multi‑year enterprise deals.
  • CRM and systems. Own Salesforce and the wider sales tech stack as the single source of truth.
  • Sales analytics and reporting. Build reporting: pipeline bridges, conversion by stage, win/loss patterns, ARR movement, quota attainment and productivity.
  • AI in the go-to‑market motion. Put AI to work across RevOps: forecasting and scoring, deal and win/loss analysis, and automating the manual work.
  • Planning and territory. Support annual planning: quota setting, territory and account coverage, capacity modelling and headcount planning, working closely with sales leadership and finance.
  • Sales compensation. Own the sales compensation plan, including quota letters, commission structures, crediting rules and payout administration.

Substantial experience in sales operations, revenue operations or a closely related function within enterprise B2B software or SaaS, including time leading or effectively running the function. A strong grasp of complex, long‑cycle enterprise deals with seven figure ACVs, multiple stakeholders, and procurement and legal scrutiny. Deep Salesforce fluency and comfort across the sales tech stack: you can design the process, not just administer it. Strong practical fluency with AI: you use it daily in your own work and stay at the forefront of innovation in the AI and RevOps space. Genuine analytical horsepower. A track record of improving forecast accuracy, conversion or sales productivity in a measurable way.

Why This Role Matters: Copperleaf sells a product that helps the world’s infrastructure operators make better decisions with scarce capital. We making it easier for our customers to buy this software.

Location and How We Work: This is a London-based role (Staines) with a hybrid pattern, combining time in our UK office with remote work. Some travel should be expected for team, customer and company events. IFS is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to building an inclusive team.

We believe that coming together as a community, in person, is important for innovation, connection and fostering a sense of belonging. Our roles have the right balance of remote and in‑office working to enable flexibility for managing your life along with ensuring a real connection with your colleagues and the broader IFS community.
