IFS Copperleaf is seeking a Demand Generation & Events Specialist to join our lean, high-impact European marketing team. This role is key to driving awareness, engagement, and demand generation across the European market, working closely with regional sales teams, business development, and global marketing to accelerate growth. You will be responsible for running our events across Europe, while also executing demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline.

Events are the primary focus of this role, but the balance between events and demand generation activity will flex with business needs throughout the year. You'll join a lean European marketing team where ownership and visibility are real from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end execution of our European events programme — trade shows, field events, webinars, and partner events.
  • Own event budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiation.
  • Drive pre-event campaigning and coordinate post-event lead follow-up with sales, tracking conversion through to pipeline.
  • Accountable for the European events strategy, aligning activities with regional marketing and pipeline goals.
  • Report on event ROI and continuously refine our approach based on performance data.
  • Execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns — primarily tied to events, and also supporting broader pipeline campaigns across email, webinars, content syndication, paid social and display.
  • Build and manage campaigns in HubSpot and coordinate lead flows into Salesforce.
  • Create and update landing pages and online content supporting end-to-end campaigns.
  • Produce campaign reporting, marketing presentations, and sales enablement materials for the sales team.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with demonstrable ownership of events and experience working with enterprise sales, ABM, or large customer teams in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in marketing workflows, and genuine enthusiasm for adopting new ones.
  • Proven track record running events end-to-end, including budget ownership and vendor management.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot and Salesforce (or equivalent marketing automation and CRM platforms).
  • Confident collaborating with sales in demand generation planning and execution.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and the flexibility to adapt as priorities shift.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal.
Nice-to-have
  • Another European language (ideally French, Italian, or German).
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms such as WordPress, Cvent, Zoom Webinars, Demandbase, LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Experience in a lean, regional marketing team covering multiple markets.
  • Understanding of asset-intensive industries such as Utilities, Transportation, or Oil & Gas.

We believe that coming together as a community, in person, is important for innovation, connection and fostering a sense of belonging.
