Duration: 18mth fixed term contract, full-time

This fixed term contract is a pivotal role that directly supports the ISSB Chair, working in close collaboration with the ISSB Chair's Counsellor. It requires seamless coordination with colleagues across multiple global locations, fostering effective communication and teamwork within the IFRS Foundation and ISSB.

Responsibilities include:

  • Extensive planning, proactive, flexible diary management across multiple time zones with frequent follow-up.
  • Optimising the ISSB Chair's time and ensuring smooth day-to-day external engagements and collaborative work.
  • Ensuring timely attendance for meetings, engagements, or travel commitments.
  • Coordinating complex domestic and international travel plans, including transport and accommodation bookings.
  • Facilitating visa procurement and ensuring compliance with the Foundation's travel policy.
  • Overseeing logistical aspects of virtual and in-person meetings, including verifying dial-in details and managing restaurant bookings.
  • Providing proactive IT assistance, setting up virtual meetings, and resolving technical issues.
  • Greeting and facilitating the reception of external visitors as applicable.
  • Processing professional expenses of the ISSB Chair monthly and pre-approving travel and expense claims for direct reports.
  • Handling all administrative duties, including managing correspondence, drafting responses, obtaining approvals, document management, note compilation, contact updates, and business card handling.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience supporting a senior-level executive in an international environment.
  • Exceptional reliability, planning, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work collegially and effectively with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; French language proficiency is a plus.
  • Resourceful and proactive approach, ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise workload.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Reader.
