You will work alongside the Director of Communications to keep a high volume of communications activity on track. These activities include preparing materials for publication on the website, producing visual assets and managing logistics across multiple concurrent workstreams.

This role offers structured exposure to the full range of communications disciplines in a global organisation and is well suited to someone at an early stage of their career who is building towards a role in communications in financial services or a related professional environment.

Principal accountabilities
  • Support the preparation of IASB’s announcements and web content for publication.
  • Create and adapt visual assets using Canva in line with IFRS Foundation brand guidelines.
  • Track and maintain the communications calendar, ensuring all upcoming outputs are logged and materials are progressing to schedule.
  • Manage IASB social channels (LinkedIn and X), including planning and posting content and tracking effectiveness.
  • Liaise with technical teams to gather information needed for communications outputs, building familiarity with IASB projects over time.
  • Support audio‑visual production relating to IASB projects, including performing basic podcast editing. Training will be provided.
  • Prepare and assemble PowerPoint slide decks for stakeholders, working from provided content and templates.
  • Read selected board papers and observe board meetings to develop working knowledge of IASB projects.
  • Provide general support to the Director of Communications across projects as they arise.
Qualifications & experience
  • Master’s degree or a relevant graduate‑level qualification is preferred.
  • Some experience in a communications or content production environment—including internships or placements.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Skills and attributes
  • Able to prioritize tasks and deadlines across multiple projects and deliver outputs ahead of schedule.
  • Confidence to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Resilient under pressure and able to maintain quality when priorities shift.
  • Strong attention to detail in both written content and visual materials.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Additional language skills are advantageous.
