The team delivers the definitive view of the global recorded music market, providing trusted intelligence used across the music ecosystem by record companies, digital service providers, national groups, investors and other industry stakeholders.
The team’s outputs include IFPI’s Global Music Report, the official and definitive source of recorded music market data worldwide, alongside a broader suite of datasets, reports and analytical outputs covering global revenues, consumption, subscription streaming, market trends and industry development.
We are also the biggest provider of music charts globally by number of markets, responsible for the Official MENA Charts and Official Southeast Asia Charts brands as well as weekly rankings in a further 25 countries and the IFPI Global Charts, the ultimate measure of global commercial success for artists, fans and record labels.
Working directly with record companies, national groups, local industry associations, digital services and chart partners, the Data & Analysis team collects, verifies and analyses data from markets around the world.
This gives IFPI a uniquely comprehensive and robust view of the recorded music industry, supporting strategic decision making across the recorded music industry.

Role Overview
The Team Assistant will play a central role in supporting the delivery of IFPI's Data & Analysis team's priorities, helping to coordinate projects, meetings, events and stakeholder engagement across a wide range of global initiatives.
This is a fast-paced and demanding role that sits at the heart of one of IFPI's most visible and influential teams.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior colleagues and industry stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones, helping to ensure that key projects, deadlines and commitments remain on track.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the CFO, the primary responsibilities of the Team Assistant include:
- Coordinating meetings, events and key team activities, ensuring effective planning, scheduling and follow-up across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
- Managing team calendars, supporting diary coordination and helping to ensure the smooth operation of team priorities and deadlines.
- Acting as a central point of coordination across the Data & Analysis team, ensuring actions, deliverables and commitments are tracked, communicated and completed.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of IFPI industry meetings, conferences, committees and stakeholder events.
- Preparing agendas, presentations, briefing materials and meeting packs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining project trackers and helping drive accountability for the completion of actions across the team.
- Managing information flows between the team, wider IFPI departments, member companies and external stakeholders.
- Helping maintain team documentation, operational processes and records to ensure efficient ways of working.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, coordination and team effectiveness.
- Providing practical support across the team's activities as priorities evolve.
- Available to support ad hoc office admin duties as and when needed.
