We are now recruiting for a Supervisor to join our Team at i Force Stafford on a Full time and permanent position.

Job Description

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday rotating shift - 06:00am-14:00pm & 14:00pm-22:00pm.

Your job duties will include but not limited to the below.

We are looking for a supervisor who can run a busy shift managing around 50 people across various workstreams.

The products coming through the door are damaged items. It’s a fast-paced environment where they need to think on their feet.

The candidate will be responsible for most HR aspects, attendance, managing performance, briefing the team, reacting to the dynamics of the operation and knowing where to position people to hit targets.

Ideally this person will have been a supervisor/shift manager or a senior team leader.

  • Provide training for new and existing Staff to achieve the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Supporting the Shift Supervisor to achieve timely and efficient receipt, pallet build, put away and despatch of stock.
  • Supporting the Shift Supervisor to achieve efficient receipt and pallet build of returned customer orders to maintain SLA targets.
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring optimum levels of stock integrity.
  • Supporting the Shift Supervisor to ensure that staffing levels planned to meet required levels of efficiency.
  • Develop and train all team members so that their contributions to the warehouse can be maximised and succession plan.
  • Manage and motivate the shift team in order to ensure that productivity and service KPIs are achieved or exceeded.
  • Monitor and control the work environment to ensure that it is operating to its optimum efficiency.
  • Being personable to effectively communicate with drivers & operatives whilst finding solutions for potential challenge

Qualifications

  • Experience of managing teams within a multi client warehouse environment desirable
  • Process oriented – an appreciation for specific client requirements
  • Delivery of quality and cost improvements through continuous improvement
  • People manager – Leads by example, encourages team spirit and can motivate a team
  • Adaptable & responsive to change – ability to monitor workflow and move workforce accordingly.
  • Computer literate and able to follow complex instructions
