Your job duties will include but not limited to the following: Please be advised that the main job title will be Warehouse Colleague with Team Leader allowance.
- Managing and motivating the team ensuring that productivity is achieved.
- Developing and training all team members so that their contributions can be maximized.
- Carrying out daily briefings ensuring that the team is kept up to date with all relevant information.
- Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse comply with the Companies Health & Safety and hygiene policies.
- Ensuring that the shift performance is achieved.
- Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and conduct validations to ensure accuracy avoiding stockouts including efficient and safe storage of goods.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages or damages updating stock information on computer system and warehouse WMS.
- Assemble customer orders from the order profile
- Ensure the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely, onto pallets in line with warehouse procedures
- Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times
- Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse
- Attention to detail.
- Practical skills in inventory software (WMS, Microsoft Office)
- Good communication Strong organizational abilities
- Able to work to targets within a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
- Conscientious and reliable nature
