Job Description

Shift: Monday‑Friday 08:00 am‑16:00 pm.

Salary: £26,692.28 basic + 10% Team Leader allowance.

Your job duties will include but not be limited to the following: The main job title will be Warehouse Colleague with Team Leader allowance.

• Managing and motivating the team to ensure productivity is achieved.
• Developing and training all team members so that their contributions can be maximized.
• Carrying out daily briefings to keep the team up to date with all relevant information.
• Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse comply with company Health & Safety and hygiene policies.
• Ensuring that shift performance is achieved.
• Monitoring stock levels, performing cycle counts, and conducting validations to ensure accuracy, avoiding stockouts and ensuring efficient and safe storage of goods.
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, shortages or damages, updating stock information on computer systems and the warehouse WMS.
• Assembling customer orders from the order profile.
• Ensuring the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely onto pallets in line with warehouse procedures.
• Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Practical skills in inventory software (WMS, Microsoft Office).
• Good communication and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work within a fast‑paced environment.
• Able to work to targets within a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Conscientious and reliable nature.
