As a Technical Robot Weld Setter, you will be working within a highly advanced and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your role will be to ensure the efficient running of our state-of-the-art robotic cells welding chassis, components and sub-assemblies. Ideally you will have good knowledge of MIG Welding with a background of working in a similar manufacturing environment, using grinders and other associated hand and power tools. You will also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings including welding symbols.
The job duties of a Technical Robot Weld Setter include working to write, test, and modify programs that direct the actions of robotic equipment. Your responsibilities typically consist of using robotic software to create directions for manufacturing applications, introducing and helping develop new jigs to aid the process. You will help the Team Leader ensure production targets and KPI’s are achieved, ensuring that safety and the quality of the product is top priority. You will look to continually improve the process, promoting a right first-time culture.
