We are currently seeking an ambitious pace‑setter to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative for the UK markets on site based at our Wakefield office.
ROLE COMMITMENTS
- Proactively conduct outbound calls/emails to generate interest, present our market‑leading offering, and identify cross‑sell, upsell, and renewal opportunities.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities through discovery conversations that capture detailed customer needs and deliver appropriate product solutions.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s and sales targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and webchats from customers in a timely and courteous manner, following up on inbound leads as needed and nurturing long‑term opportunities.
- Produce accurate information regarding products, subscriptions, and company policies.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and, when necessary, escalate complex queries.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and resolution using internal systems.
- Diligently produce best‑in‑class customer outcomes.
- Collect customer reviews and capture the voice of the customer.
- Deliver key seasonal promotional activities through targeted campaigns.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and effectively communicate their value to prospective customers.
- Manage and update sales CRM records with accurate and timely information.
- Collaborate with the team and internal departments to refine prospecting activities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- Assess inventory counts and maintain margin through controlled price delivery.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education and Basic Qualifications
- Qualified by experience.
- 1–3 years of outbound sales, telemarketing, or inside sales experience, preferably gained in a B2C or DTC environment.
- Familiarity with lead generation tools, data management, and methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with lead generation tools, data management, and methodology.
- Good understanding of the sales techniques/methodology deployed in outbound activity.
- Knowledge of the full sales cycle and pipeline management.
- Demonstrable experience of the activities that underpin proactive outbound campaigns including data control, target lists, product messaging, features, advantages, benefits, and closing.
- Good understanding of seasonal sales curves and the required activities to deliver peak season.
- FMCG/Manufacturing sales experience is desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable working with CRM software and Google Docs.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- A passion for customer‑centric sales through service.
