Are you passionate about creating a safe, compliant, and sustainable manufacturing environment? As Senior Coordinator, Site Environmental Health & Safety, you will play a key role in supporting daily EHS operations at site level. You will manage Permit to Work activities, support maintenance and operations teams, and help drive continuous improvement in safety, compliance, and environmental performance within a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage risk assessments, method statements, and Permits to Work
  • Support safe isolation procedures and mechanical safety improvements
  • Coordinate machine safety, racking inspections, and PIT training
  • Support internal and external EHS audits and site inspections
  • Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety culture
  • Support the development and implementation of EHS management systems
  • Act as deputy for the Senior EHS Officer when required

What You Bring

  • Experience preparing Permits to Work and risk assessments
  • Background in EHS within a food manufacturing or regulated environment
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / Six Sigma experience preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of UK EHS regulations
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
  • First Aid and Emergency Response experience
