As Mechanical Technician, you'll manage all site utilities and facilities infrastructure, from steam and water systems to refrigeration and compressed air. You'll lead a skilled team, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and provide technical support across departments. This role includes participation in a call-out rota and occasional weekend cover to support continuous operations.
Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Lead utilities operations and maintenance for steam, water, cooling, refrigeration, air, and nitrogen systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Act as the Site Responsible Person for Legionella Control and develop/update utility procedures.
- Plan and coordinate proactive maintenance and manage corrective repairs.
- Oversee facilities projects and contractor management, including quotations and invoicing.
- Support team development and provide technical assistance, including out-of-hours support.
