We have vacancies available and are looking for proactive and experienced Senior Fire Engineers to join the team. Responsibilities
- Production of fee proposals, fire strategy reports and other relevant documentation as and when required.
- Attend Client meetings, conduct site surveys and inspections and communicate the intended fire strategy to the design team and client through phone calls, emails and meetings as appropriate.
- Reviewing architectural drawings to determine potential fire strategy approval risks and opportunities to add value.
- Calculations of evacuation times - Means of Escape Analysis.
- Computational Evacuation Modelling Analysis.
- Solve, with support, fire engineering calculations including radiant heat, smoke control and occupant evacuations.
- Third Party Review/Design Verification.
- Assessment and understanding of the main UK fire safety legislation and standards applied to buildings.

Key requirements
- A degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Fire Engineer within a Fire Safety Engineering team with some basic project management experience.
- A thorough understanding of ADB, BS 9999 and BS 9991.
- Working knowledge of regulatory controls and a proven ability to develop and implement fire engineered design solutions in the built environment.
