This role will support and coordinate the effective delivery of the Bank’s HR function across the full employee lifecycle, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, absence management, Learning & Development, performance management and employee relations.
The role will be responsible for ensuring HR administration, processes and records are managed accurately, efficiently and consistently, while providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers
Main Duties
- Administration
- Providing administrative support to the HR team.
- Handling HR correspondence, organising HR meetings, and managing HR-related documentation.
- Drafting employment and employee documents e. g. offer letters, employment agreements, amendments to terms and conditions of employment, and end of employment confirmation letters.
- Managing and maintaining HR systems e. g. employee records, holiday and sickness absence management systems are maintained and up to date.
- Coordinating new joiners and leaver processes, creating and maintaining employee files, requesting new joiner email and IT accounts and ensuring the leavers process is completed in a timely manner.
- Managing all employee files and ensuring they are maintained and updated in accordance with the Bank guidelines and meet the requirements for internal audit requirements.
- Preparing reports on HR metrics.
- Recruitment
- Maintaining the recruitment database and coordinating recruitment administration, including recording all incoming CVs received, updating/keeping tracking of candidate progress.
- Assisting withall aspects of the recruitment process and documentation.
- Health and Safety
- Championing health and safety programmes, including training employees on safety procedures and maintaining related documentation.
- Other
- Assisting with the administration, documentation and coordination of Training, Performance Management, Employee Relations, and other areas of the Employee Lifecycle.
- Supporting and contributing to ad-hoc HR tasks/projects and new HR initiatives.
- Performing any other task as directed by the HR Manager and the UK CEO.
Education & Training
- Educated to degree level or equivalent demonstrable relevant experience
Experience & Skills
- A minimum of 1-2 year HR administration experience.
- Experience of managing a high volume of HR administration and coordination activities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, advanced Excel skill will be considered an advantage.
