  • What you’ll be doing

Martin-Baker is the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats, helping to protect aircrew in the world’s most advanced military aircraft.

Join us on this mission as a Seat Test Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for coordinating the Seat Test Department’s involvement with different Programmes.

Each day looks different and you will be involved in a variety of activities.

Product knowledge gained will allow you to prepare seat test instructions, test plans and assisting with the preparation of arming schedules.

You will also be assisting with the preparation of test checklists and risk assessments as well as chairing test readiness review meetings.

You will work closely with other departments such as System, Human Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Programmes and work with customers, presenting safety briefings and test review boards.

You will also be coordinating and attending seat tests as well as evaluating and presenting data after tests have been completed.
