Job Description Summary Job Description As an inspector you will have various responsibilities relating to the return of parts in line with a customer PO to a serviceable condition.

This will involve inspection of parts, work scope creation and using an Oracle ERP system, all whilst working to specific aerospace regulations.

As an inspector you will interact with various departments and people within the business, ensuring you support using your inspection knowledge where possible.

The role will also include using lean principles to help streamline processes and your area.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Creating parent and child jobs within an Oracle ERP system.
  • Laying out and inspecting components iaw the Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM).
  • Creation of job cards and layouts for the shop.
  • Ensuring traceability is maintained throughout the process.
  • Strip down and repair of components.
  • Actively resolving rejects within the business and applying for concessions with Engineering where necessary
  • Supporting engineering/quality investigations and project work as and when required.
  • Training in any additional areas as required by the business (i. e. Repair, Strip)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Safety and Quality mindset, ensuring safety and quality are always put first.

They will need to demonstrate that they are able to utilise detailed manuals, drawings & other documentation to aid this requirement.

Minimum of NVQ Lv3 (or equivalent) or time served within the business.

Must be PC literate and have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

Attention to detail is essential.
