We are recruiting for a permanent Lead Engineering Project Manager – Product Support at a world‑leading manufacturer of integrated propeller systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy for assigned projects.
- Act as customer advocate, ensuring major issues and concerns are prioritized.
- Lead safety investigations to arrive at acceptable solutions for the company, customers and authorities.
- Manage customer support requests including concessions and AOG (aircraft on ground) requests.
- Support programs across the product lifecycle, including bids, proposals, new product introduction and in‑service support.
- Leverage reliability, operational and financial data to identify and advocate improvement opportunities.
- Lead customer meetings with the program manager, including leadership of technical solutions.
- Support manufacturing and MRO operations for assigned projects.
- Assure documentation of technical data consistent with company policy and customer requirements.
- Participate as presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
- Manage a test program to validate design changes and manage continued airworthiness.
- Apply established project management tools: manage technical requirements, build and lead integrated product teams, mentor personnel, ensure robust scope, schedules and risk assessments.
- Deliver projects within financial and contractual constraints using company procedures.
- Create project estimates and support strategic planning processes.
- Develop statements of work to engage external engineering support.
- Contribute to the development of the project engineering function and represent management when necessary.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with complex safety‑critical products in customer or operationally focused environments.
- Knowledge of airworthiness requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and lead cross‑functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, external suppliers).
- Experience with leadership of complex projects using established tools.
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or technical subject, or equivalent experience.
Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. If BPSS clearance cannot be obtained, the applicant may not be eligible for the role and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
