At Dowty, a GE Aerospace company, an internal promotion opportunity exists for a Field Service Engineer to join our Rest of World field service team. The role provides dedicated support for civil and military customers globally, delivering field training and repairs to our internal and external customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide field repairs and technical support for global customers.
- Provide training to internal and external customers.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Relevant experience in a regulated aerospace environment performing aircraft maintenance or general mechanical experience in the automotive industry.
- Proven customer-facing and/or commercial experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage performance using KPIs, meet deadlines, set priorities, work and implement recovery actions when required.
- A self-starter able to manage your own work.
- Ability to apply clear thinking to solve problems and work cross-functionally.
- Confident in presenting and delivering technical data through training.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or high school diploma with work experience in a similar role.
