We have an opportunity for a Blade Operator at our Dowty Propellers Brockworth site. The role involves the execution of manual processes either on a rotating shift pattern in a production environment. The role requires the ability to work night shift.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Blade composite processes to include but not limited to Composite layup, Preform & Foam, Blade build, resin injection and deflash.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Identify and hold responsibility for Quality & Environment, Health & Safety issues.
  • Repairing.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership accountability for quality and EHS standards.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
  • Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing.
  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. If BPSS clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
