Blade Operator at our Dowty Propellers Brockworth site. This role involves the execution of manual processes on a rotating shift pattern in a production environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Blade composite processes including composite layup, preform & foam, blade build, resin injection and deflash.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Identifying and holding responsibility for quality & environment, health & safety issues.
  • Repairing.
  • Ability to work night shift.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership and accountability for quality and EHS standards.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
  • Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing.
  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity.
