We have an opportunity for a Blade Operator at our Dowty Propellers Brockworth site for an 18 month fixed term contract. The role involves the execution of manual processes, possibly on a rotating shift pattern in a production environment. It requires the ability to work night shift.
Responsibilities
- Blade composite processes to include but not limited to composite layup, preform & foam, blade build, resin injection and deflash
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Identify and hold responsibility for quality & environment, health & safety issues
- Repairing
Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership and accountability for quality and EHS standards
- Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site
- Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements
- Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing
- Demonstrate good manual dexterity
