The Materials Facilitator is responsible for leading daily operating rhythms within the materials function, ensuring consistent delivery against SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) targets. The role focuses on driving performance across shifts, maintaining high standards, and developing the team capability through effective leadership, training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily operations across multiple shifts
- Act as the primary representative for Materials in operational forums and escalations in your designated value stream
- Drive adherence to SQDC standards, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost targets are consistently met
- Lead and support team, including performance management, coaching and delivering on training plans to improve team capability & improve performance
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects focused on delivery KPIs and inventory management
- Partner with necessary stakeholders to improve material delivery in line with production plan requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align material delivery and control in line with cell strategy to enhance inventory turns, reduce manufacturing losses and develop world-class material presentation

Qualifications / Requirements
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and inventory management concepts
- Proven experience in team leadership, supervision or coordinating daily operations
- Understanding of SQDC principles and continuous improvement practices (e.g. Lean)
- Skilled on Excel, proficient in utilizing VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and conditional formatting
Security and Employment
Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
