The Role
We are seeking to recruit Field Engineers, based from our Head Office in Leeds (working throughout the UK). As a Field Engineer you will work with teams on various wastewater and water projects around the UK & Ireland. The Field Engineer will be part of a small team installing and maintaining flow monitors, water quality instrumentation and auto-samplers into sewer pipes and rivers around the UK.
The work you do will contribute to improving our environment; you will be helping water companies to manage their sewer networks, and this will help to prevent flooding, reduce pollution and improve the health of rivers and bathing waters.
Typical Day of a Field Engineer
Your typical day will involve visiting various sites where you will support your Field Crew Leader in setting up safely and then carry out the installation, calibration or removal of our equipment which is usually located inside a confined space or a river environment. This will include lifting and carrying equipment from the vehicle to the specified site.
Field Engineer Requirements
- Flexibility towards hours and working away from home (accommodation and meals are paid for by the company). A flexible approach to working at night and some infrequent weekend work, is crucial.
- Ability to work well within a team and with a variety of different people, as our teams swap and change.
- Strong work ethic, positive and can-do attitude and ability to use your own initiative when faced with problems.
- Comfortable working around raw sewage and in confined spaces.
- Clean and valid driving licence
- Right to work in the UK

Full training will be provided, so you dont need previous experience in the sector, however a track record in a similar environment would be an advantage.
Our head office is in Leeds and ideal locations for the successful candidates will be Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Doncaster areas.
Due to the safety critical nature of the work, successful applicants will be subject to drug and alcohol testing prior to start and on a spot check basis during employment.
