Quantity Surveying Opportunities
We have several Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor roles available across our business. Depending on your background and experience, if you decided to join us, you would either be working on our traditional utility works upgrading and renewing distribution networks, or on multi-discipline construction call-off projects awarded under various capital delivery Frameworks. We operate an embedded commercial function which we encourage to form an integral part of our operational delivery teams, as such you will be assigned one or more contracts, depending on the size, and operate day-to-day supporting operational teams in delivering successful contract outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage contracts, predominantly NEC (NEC3 / NEC4 ECC) and bespoke contracts.
- Manage contract change control processes, notices, valuations and final accounts.
- Maintain commercial records, produce CVRs, forecasts and cost plans.
- Support and optimise cashflow reporting, minimise WIP and manage subcontractor accounts.
- Work closely with operational leaders and the Finance team to ensure commercial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide proactive commercial input at project / contract inception, delivery and close-out stages.
